New Ulm stays unbeaten by blanking St. Peter

May 02 - New Ulm -- New Ulm continued their best season ever by blanking St. Peter, 7-0 in South Central Conference action. St. Peter moved to 1-3 in the conference while New Ulm lifted their conference record to 3-0.

St. Peter was not far off in most of the matches--including coming close at #4 singles and #2 doubles. At #4 singles, St. Peter's Ryan Kroenke fell just short, falling to Jimmy Vancura in 3 sets, 1-6, 6-2, 3-6. In #2 doubles, Nick Johnson and Tim Hellendrung again had a close match, but stayed undefeated by winning 6-4, 7-6 over Ted Bolstad and Patrick Tanis.

New Ulm is now 28-2 in doubles this year.
